Case Study - [Designers of the Future]
Young Peoples Course
Lord Whitney

[Designers of the Future] was a free 5-week creative course designed and delivered by Lord Whitney, funded by the European Social Fund. Created in 2021 in response to the opportunities gap, widened by the pandemic, this Pilot has informed Lord Whitney’s development strands. Believing that there is no ‘standard route’ into the creative industries, [Designers of the Future] was created to help inspire curiosity, inventiveness, and resilience – traits that we believe are fundamental when trying to be a working creative.

Proud doesn’t quite cover how I feel towards these fantastic humans. I look forward to working for them in the future, as they forge their paths as the creative leaders we need.

  • 100% felt that they learnt something new

  • 100% felt supported and listened to

  • 100% were satisfied with the course content

  • 100% saw the course through to completion

  • 100% returned their project budget receipts

  • 50% went into work or further education within 3 months

“Personally I am currently being challenged in many ways in my life. This course was the hope I needed to keep moving forward and I would do it all over again also recommend it to all emerging designers.”
